MESSAGEFIELD
messagefield project began in 2002. the drawings come from low-tech apparatuses that are adapted to the movements of the wind, water, trees, and other elements of the environment. apparatuses are set up to maximize expression over time, but otherwise no attempts are made to shape the outcome of the drawings. duration of each work depends on a number of factors, including the force of the environment, and the event that is recorded. all apparatuses are patent pending and all works on this site are copyright Elizabeth Hoak Doering.
